About this role

Memorial Health is seeking a Lead Physical Therapist to provide clinical care while serving as the day-to-day clinic lead for our Urbana outpatient location. This is a full-time position offering a $5,000 sign-on bonus.

As a Lead Physical Therapist, you will spend the majority of your time providing direct patient care. You will also have designated responsibilities related to the daily operations and success of the clinic. This position is ideal for an experienced physical therapist who enjoys patient care, supports the development of others, and is interested in taking on a small amount of leadership responsibility without stepping away from clinical practice.

As a Lead PT, you will work closely with the Director of Therapy and Rehabilitation and the clinic team to maintain a positive patient experience, support efficient clinic operations, promote quality clinical care, and contribute to the continued growth of Memorial Health's Urbana location.

Essential Responsibilities:

• Clinical Care

• Provide high-quality physical therapy services to a diverse outpatient population.

• Complete comprehensive evaluations and develop individualized plans of care.

• Provide skilled treatment and monitor patient progress toward established goals.

• Complete timely and accurate clinical documentation and billing.

• Communicate effectively with patients, families, physicians, and other members of the healthcare team.

• Serve as a clinical resource to other therapists and support staff as appropriate.

• Maintain current knowledge of evidence-based physical therapy practices and applicable regulatory requirements.

• Clinic Leadership & Operations

• Serve as the primary day-to-day clinical lead for the Urbana location.

• Partner with the Therapy Director to support the overall operation and success of the clinic.

• Help promote a positive, collaborative, and patient-centered clinic culture.

• Assist with daily workflow, scheduling, patient access, and efficient use of clinic resources.

• Identify operational or clinical issues and communicate concerns and potential solutions to the Therapy Director.

• Help monitor clinic volume, productivity, patient access, and other performance indicators.

• Support the implementation and follow-through of departmental initiatives and quality improvement activities.

• Assist with onboarding, mentoring, and development of new staff and students.

• Provide guidance and support to team members while encouraging accountability and ownership.

• Help maintain consistent standards for patient care, documentation, customer service, and clinic operations.

• Assist with communication between the Urbana clinic and Therapy leadership.

What We're Looking For:

• Commitment to delivering high-quality, evidence-based care

• Strong communication skills with patients, families, and team members

• Dedication to ongoing learning and professional growth

• Ability to lead and mentor others

• Adherence to ethical standards and compliance requirements

Other Requirements:

• Licensed as a Physical Therapist in Ohio

• 5+ years' experience as a Physical Therapist preferred

• Consistent, reliable attendance

• Completion of all mandatory training, health requirements, and in-services (team training, safety, infection control, etc.)

• Compliance with hospital and departmental Ethics and Compliance programs, including promptly reporting variances through the proper channels
