Come join the team that literally serves Grab - Grab's Sentry team. You will be reporting to Engineering Manager II. The systems we oversee process billions of network messages for Grab's consumers every day, without fail. We work with the infrastructure, security, and product teams, and are looking for experienced engineers to join our platform team!

This role is onsite based in our Petaling Jaya, Malaysia office.
The Critical Tasks You Will Perform
You will build and own Grab's Secrets Management Platform which serves hundreds of backend services that run Grab behind the scene.You will work at Grab's Malaysia R&D Center, integrated with software engineering and product teams to help build rock-solid and secure solutions with the right interface, technology and practices.You will be at home in a HA cloud environment and build scalable, zero-downtime solutions.You will independently drive projects across teams end to end, from inception to rollout.You will find and troubleshoot issues in Grab's infrastructure and codebase.You will implement quality solutions and maintain the high bar of standards for code reviews and deployment processes.You will mentor peers and promote development and best practices while achieving excellent user experience. What Essential Skills You Will Need
You have solid software engineering and coding skills. Specifically, we're looking for someone with at least 4+ years of experience in a backend developmentYou expert in at least one of C, C++, Go, C#, Java, PythonYou have experience running critical services in AWSFamiliarity with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) conceptsKnow how to build and scale systemsUnderstand common patterns and algorithms to navigate different code bases for debugging and troubleshootingYour Advantage
Familiarly with HashiCorp Vault or similar systemsExperience with multiple networking protocolsExperience with distributed system algorithms and protocolsExperience with building monitoring and alerting systemsHands-on experience with Terraform and large-scale Docker / Kubernetes deployments Life at Grab
