About this role
Under the direction of the Construction Foreman, the incumbent performs skilled and semi-skilled tasks related to the maintenance of all Tribal-owned roadways, grounds, equipment and facilities requiring the operation of several types of vehicles and general labor work. High School diploma and/or GED desirable plus a minimum of five years of experience in the operation of various equipment cited below. Must be able to safely operate dump trucks, street sweepers and all equipment over 26,000 pounds of gross vehicle weight. Must be able to safely use tools such as chain saws, snow blowers, wood chippers, etc. Must be experienced in utility trenchwork. Must maintain a valid driver's license; must provide a yearly DMV Certified Driving History.
