About this role

Are you looking for a rewarding career? We're currently hiring for a full-time Transfer Station Attendant near Albin, WY.

Typical Duties of a Transfer Station Attendant include:

· Unloading all animals at transfer station from the clean side, including cull pigs, market hogs, and wean pigs

· Use a pressure washer to clean and sanitize the transfer station

· Wash and sanitize all internal trucks, trailers, and other farm equipment

· Maintain the truck wash and related equipment

· Assess and perform maintenance on the transfer station

· Load trailers with all wean pigs, market hogs, and cull pigs leaving the Wyoming pod

· Remove animal loss from sites for disposal

· Perform composting duties

· Inspect and perform maintenance on equipment, including tractors and grinders

Skills & Abilities:

Knowledge of: • Biosecurity protocols • Animal Behavior

Skill in: • Washing equipment with high-powered pressure washers • Attention to detail • Judgement and decision making

Ability to: • Work independently • Follow verbal and written instructions • Operate high-pressure washing equipment

Compensation and Benefits:

Targeted pay range of $42,000-$47,000 USD yearly depending on experience and qualifications.
