Our focus is on creating specialized AI-driven products and tools that address specific business needs across Corporate teams at Grab. You will collaborate with the product, business, and program management teams to ensure delivery of your work.
Get to Know the Role
You will lead the design, development, and maintenance of our corporate systems, driving technological advancements and setting the standard for engineering excellence. You will be reporting to Principal Enterprise Architect - Automation and Integration.
This role is onsite based in our Petaling Jaya, Malaysia office.
The Critical Tasks You Will Perform
You will architect and design scalable, AI-driven products and toolsYou will collaborate with teams to define technical strategies and feature specificationsYou will make high-level design decisions and establish technical standards for software developmentYou will optimize system performance, reliability, and efficiency across the product ecosystemYou will provide technical guidance and code reviews to ensure best practices are followedYou will partner with DevOps teams to enhance system scalability and operational efficiencyYou will stay current with emerging technologies and industry trends to drive innovation within the team What Essential Skills You Will Need
You have a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related fieldYou have at least 8 years of software engineering experience, with 5+ years focused on designing and building scalable systemsYou have foundation in data structures, algorithms, operating systems, and networkingYou have proficiency in at least one backend programming language, preferably GolangYou have experience with backend systems, including databases, caching, NoSQL, and application serversYou have experience leading and mentoring engineering teamsYou have experience with cloud services, OLTP systems, and consumer-facing productsYou have experience with microservices architecture and RESTful API designYou have familiarity with DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelinesYou have demonstrated leadership in driving technical decisions and defining engineering standards Life at Grab
