Spanish Language Producer / Content Editor
Type: Freelance – 2 Shifts Per Week
Location: Jerusalem (Talpiot)
Position Overview
Jewish News Syndicate (JNS), the fastest-growing news agency covering Israel and the Jewish world, is seeking a Spanish-speaking Producer / Content Editor to help launch a new Spanish-language news and interview show from our Jerusalem studio.
This is a freelance, part-time position combining editorial, production, and content coordination responsibilities. The role is ideal for someone with strong knowledge of current political events, excellent communication skills, and experience in video or podcast production.
Schedule
The position consists of 2 shifts per week:
1 Pre-Production Shift
• Guest coordination and booking
• Episode planning and editorial preparation
• Assisting with scripts, talking points, and production logistics
1 Post-Production Shift
• Reviewing edits and providing editorial feedback
• Ensuring the final product meets JNS production and editorial standards
• Coordinating final delivery and publishing readiness
Requirements
• Native or fluent Spanish
• Strong understanding of current events and news content
• Experience in video production, podcast production, or digital media
• Strong organizational and communication skills
• Ability to work collaboratively with hosts, editors, and production staff
• Based in Israel
Preferred Qualifications
• Experience working in news or current affairs media
• Familiarity with YouTube and digital content workflows
• Hebrew and/or English proficiency
