About this role
The Mechanical Maintenance Team Lead for the Process area is part of the Maintenance Team in the Production Department and is responsible for executing the work plan (CM and PM) by directly supervising, developing, and coaching of Rotating equipment and Piping Maintenance Technicians as well as Contract maintenance resources. Mechanical MTL is responsible for ensuring that the work is executed safely, within environmental regulations, with high quality and efficiency. This includes setting the work up to be successful, monitoring the progress of the work, intervening as necessary, seeking opportunities to supplement the scheduled work with fill in work, and communicating equipment status. Additionally, the MTL role performs field planning for work that skips the planning phase.
