About this role
As a Pipefitter Apprentice 4, you will further enhance your skills by assisting with more complex pipefitting projects under the supervision of Foremen and supervisors. Your responsibilities will include the inspection of existing systems, selecting pipe sizes and materials according to specifications. You will be involved in tasks like power bending, hydraulic flaring, interpreting blueprints and schematics to plan the layout, installation, or repair of pipe systems. This role requires basic knowledge of the Plumbing and Mechanical Code, as well as material take-offs, basic welding, brazing, and soldering skills. It is part of our 4-year employer-sponsored DOL Pipefitting Apprenticeship program through SEMCA.
