About this role
We’re searching for a senior leader to obtain the Head of Sports CRM role. In this role you will shape and execute the full Sports CRM vision – from segmentation strategy and personalised engagement to retention performance across global markets. This role is perfect for someone who understands the complexity of sports calendars, thrives on real-time decision-making, and knows how to turn fan behaviour into commercial results.
The position is opened in Valencia, Spain (relocation is provided by the company).
Responsibilities:
• Build a sports-first engagement strategy that reacts to real events, odds shifts, competitions and local market specifics.
• Drive lifecycle optimisation and player retention for high-volume sports audiences across brands and GEOs.
• Create advanced segmentation and predictive models tailored to sports behaviour, frequency, risk, and value tiers.
• Oversee sports promotional architecture – calendars, bonus logic, automated journeys, risk and regulatory constraints.
• Introduce automation and scalable playbooks so teams can act fast during peak events without sacrificing quality.
• Coach and expand a strong CRM function – analysts, execution specialists and regional coordinators.
• Build tight collaboration with Trading, Product, BI, and Marketing to maximise cross-team impact.
• Own CRM performance KPIs and continuously improve through experimentation and clear reporting.
Requirements:
• 5–7+ years in CRM, ideally with significant Sportsbook exposure in .com markets.
• Strong command of:
• segmentation and predictive modelling
• AB/Multivariate testing
• promotion personalisation
• performance analytics / KPI ownership
• Experience leading large and distributed teams (20+), including mentoring and capability building.
• A proactive, operational mindset – strong ownership, fast execution, and a drive to improve what doesn’t work.
• Ability to communicate clearly with both technical and commercial stakeholders.
• Solid background in process improvement and scalable CRM tooling.
• English level: Upper-Intermediate or higher.
