About this role
What will you be doing?
We’re looking for an ILS Engineer to support major defence and aerospace programmes. You’ll be responsible for ensuring systems are designed with through-life supportability in mind — from concept through to in-service support.
You’ll work closely with engineering, procurement, and suppliers to influence design decisions and deliver effective support solutions.
Your main responsibilities will be:
Deliver through-life support and sustainment across the full system lifecycle.Develop and manage:
Technical manualsSpares provisioningTraining solutionsMaintenance conceptsTest and support equipmentPerform logistics and reliability analysis:
LSAR, LORA, FMECA, RBD, Life Cycle Cost (LCC)Manage ILS tools and data:
Omega PS, S1000D-compliant documentationInfluence system design for supportability and reliabilitySupport ILS planning, risk management, contracts, and budgeting Experience, skills and qualifications required:
Degree in Engineering, Logistics, or similar (or equivalent experience)Strong experience using:S1000D, ASD 4000, Omega PSLORA, FMECA, MIL-STD-217, RBDStrong analytical and problem-solving skillsConfident working with data-driven decisionsExcellent communication across multi-disciplinary engineering teamsUnderstanding of defence procurement and regulations Why join us?
