About this role
The Facilities Manager oversees electrical, custodial, HVAC, millwright, machine maintenance and any other projects specified by the Facilities Director. They are responsible for all building and grounds maintenance for their assigned site. Commitment to safety, quality, customer service, and efficiency is required. The Facility Manager must have strong people management skills. The ability to communicate across multiple organizational boundaries and disciplines is critical, including management of 25 personnel on multiple shifts. The incumbent must appreciate the importance of regular training and constant learning and have the ability to extend that desire to employees.
