About this role
The Assistant Layout Superintendent is responsible for executing and coordinating layout tasks throughout the life of a project, utilizing surveying principles, construction drawings, and BIM-enabled technologies. The Assistant Layout Superintendent integrates traditional land surveying practices with general contractor layout methods, including the use of Trimble Total Stations (or similar equipment) and digital drafting tools, to improve accuracy, efficiency, and constructability. This position plays a key role in supporting field operations, maintaining quality standards, and contributing to on-time, on-budget project delivery. This role requires a minimum of three (3) years of civil construction experience to support project layout, survey control, and field verification activities.
