Position Overview
The Radio Duty Attendant position at CMH Revelstoke conducts radio dispatch for field operations, logistical support for the ski programs, and performs a variety of office duties. The position calls for an understanding of day-to-day operations, as well as the ability to perform administrative tasks, problem solve, and deliver exceptional guest service.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
• Maintain record keeping of all air traffic and snow safety.
• Delegate efficiently when rescue plan is activated.
• Provide radio dispatch for field operations.
• Act as the base radio operator during emergency responses.
• Train and be proficient with the CMH Emergency Response Plan.
• Track helicopter, guest, and staff locations in field.
• Record and track helicopter flight time, and fuel usage.
• Work with all departments to ensure smooth operations and day to day functions.
• Assist with tracking and recording skier information.
• Assist with wildlife tracking and documentation.
• Assist in setup of guest's skis/snowboards.
• Assist with the cleaning of the shuttle vans and gear drying room, among other cleaning tasks.
• Adhere to Occupational Health and Safety and WHMIS standards.
• Support guests in the field program, as needed.
Minimum Qualifications
• Radio Dispatch experience, an asset.
• Intermediate computer skills in Word and Excel.
• First aid certificate, preferred.

Travel Requirements
• Employees are required to make their own transportation arrangements to and from the lodge for work shifts.
Working Conditions
• Able to lift, carry, or otherwise move and position a minimum of 20 pounds on an occasional basis.
• Manual dexterity to operate a computer and other common office equipment on a constant basis.
• Auditory and visual acuity to operate computers, phones, mobile devices, and basic office equipment on a constant basis.
• This position consists of 3-4 shifts a week and an hourly schedule that will be created between you and your manager.

Compensation
A competitive hourly rate will be provided, along with 4% vacation pay and potential opportunities to heli-ski, as available. Further details will be discussed in a personal interview.
