About this role
The Family Adventure Leader (FAL) is responsible for planning and implementing an activity and recreation program for youth booked on CMH Family Adventure trips. The FAL’s role is to organize the daily tasks and activities for youth of all ages to participate in and learn from. With a balance of time spent working alone or with other members of the lodge team, the FAL plays a key role in the hiking, skiing, and lodge family adventure programs. With a strong understanding of guest expectations balanced with teamwork and excellent organizational and communication skills, the FAL will be the “go-to” expert in the lodge for all the youth activities. This role is worked as an 11-hour split shift each day.
