About this role
The Residential Family Advocate supports parents of children with serious emotional disturbances living in the Child Community Residence. The role provides advocacy, training, outreach, and peer support to help families navigate treatment, education, and service systems. Acting as a liaison between families and CCR staff, the RFA strengthens communication, promotes family‑driven care, and connects families to community resources, skill‑building opportunities, and respite services throughout the child’s residential placement.
