About this role

Human Resources Executive

The Human Resources Executive will play a vital role in supporting the efficient day-to-day functioning of both HR activities and overall office operations. This is a hands-on position encompassing responsibilities such as HR administration, coordinating recruitment processes, managing employee relations, and ensuring the smooth running of the office.

Human Resources Responsibilities

• Coordinate recruitment across retail stores and head office, including job postings, application screening, interviews, and seasonal hiring.

• Manage offer and onboarding administration, including preparing contracts, offer letters, and ensuring compliance documentation is completed.

• Provide day-to-day HR guidance on employee relations issues including attendance, disciplinary matters, grievances, and performance concerns.

• Support performance reviews and maintain accurate employee records.

• Coordinate HR administration, probation tracking, leave, training records, and compliance.

• Support payroll by monitoring time & attendance, overtime, rosters, leave records, and resolving payroll-related queries.

• Coordinate employee offboarding processes, including final documentation, equipment return, and system updates.

• Prepare employee documentation (promotions, contract amendments, salary changes, etc.).

• Plan and coordinate office events, meetings, team socials, and venue bookings ensuring events are delivered smoothly and professionally.

• Lead Health & Safety compliance, supporting audits, inspections, and documentation acting as onsite lead of Health and Safety.

Administrative Responsibilities

• Oversee daily office operations, ensuring a well-organised, safe, and welcoming workspace.

Requirements / Qualifications

• Qualification such as Certificate/Diploma in Human Resource Management (or related discipline).

• Minimum 3+ years consecutive experience in an HR administrative role within the last 5 years.

• Strong understanding and up-to-date knowledge of Irish employment legislation, HR best practice, and market conditions.

• Experience working with HRIS systems and time & attendance systems.

• Strong Microsoft Office skills (Excel reporting experience highly desirable).
