We are looking for an ERP Applications Specialist to support SAP Business One and related enterprise applications across Hypertec. While focused primarily on the Construction business unit, this role will also contribute to the support and continuous improvement of business applications across the organization.
What You'll Be Contributing:
• Work as part of the Enterprise Applications team to support SAP Business One and related business applications across the organization, with a focus on internal operations, user adoption, and continuous improvement.
• Provide advanced application support, root-cause analysis, troubleshooting, documentation, and ongoing maintenance to ensure system reliability, performance, and user adoption.
• Serve as the primary ERP support partner for the Construction business unit while contributing to the support and enhancement of enterprise applications used across other business units as priorities and operational needs evolve.
• Configure, maintain, and enhance SAP Business One and related ERP processes supporting multiple business functions within established governance guidelines
• Ensure data integrity and consistency across systems, reducing gaps, manual workarounds, and process inefficiencies
• Investigate and resolve ERP and cross-system issues, coordinating with IT, Finance, Supply Chain, Construction, and other business stakeholders as needed
• Partner with other ERP specialists and Enterprise Applications team members to troubleshoot issues, coordinate enhancements, support integrations, maintain consistent business processes, and build internal ERP knowledge across supported business areas.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders and external vendors where needed to support sustainable ERP solutions, while maintaining internal ownership of configuration, issue resolution, documentation, and process improvements.
What Sets You Apart:
• 5+ years of experience supporting enterprise business applications in an internal ERP application specialist, ERP business systems analyst, SAP Business One administrator, or comparable permanent business applications role.
• Strong hands-on SAP Business One functional experience, including configuration, query design, document flow troubleshooting, approval workflows, user-defined fields/tables, and process optimization.
• Experience using SAP Business One Data Transfer Workbench (DTW) for data migration, validation, reconciliation, and deployment activities.
• Working knowledge of SAP Business One integrations, including Service Layer, DI API, B1if, or third-party integration solutions.
• Strong SQL skills to analyze data, validate transactions, troubleshoot issues, and support reporting requirements.
• Experience supporting construction or project-based operations, including job costing, project accounting, change orders, progress billing, procurement, inventory, or related workflows.
• Ability to analyze requirements, configure systems, troubleshoot issues, document solutions, collaborate with stakeholders, and support process improvements across integrated applications.
• Experience with SAP Business One add-ons and connected platforms such as Produmex, Procore, Boyum, Print & Delivery, or similar ERP ecosystem solutions is an asset.
• Ability to leverage AI and automation tools to improve productivity, accelerate deliverables, and reduce manual effort.
