About this role
The Special Events Apprentice will work with the Special Events Department to help with the execution of all non-Astros baseball events and meetings held at Daikin Park. Our events business is wide-reaching and includes business meetings, galas, trade shows, corporate team building such as batting practices and softball games, concerts, self-produced events, holiday parties, and receptions. The apprenticeship supports the planning and execution of events, working closely with coordinators and managers to ensure successful outcomes. Responsibilities may include vendor management, event planning, and on-site logistics. This role often serves as a learning opportunity, allowing the apprentice to gain hands-on experience in event management, client relations, and project coordination.
