About this role
Position Summary:
The Print Production Specialist fulfills print requests ensuring jobs are printed to spec, delivered cost-effectively, on time, and to the right location.
Key Responsibilities:
• Fulfills all print production requests as specified.
• Ensures printing supplies are adequate for requested print job.
• Knows how to operate and fix printing equipment, or informs leadership of any breakdown.
• Has good understanding of print capabilities, paper, binding, trimming, and fulfillment to produce a quality product.
• Packages, ships, or delivers printed materials for on-time delivery.
• Handles and fulfills other print requests from overall department and Higginbotham.
• Provides status updates for print projects, and promptly informs team or leadership of any print-related issues.
• Ensures printed material is delivered on time to the right location, which may involve personal pick-up and delivery to local offices.
• Maintains a clean production environment and ensures entry is securely locked after hours.
• Balances a workload of several competing assignments with quick turnaround times to prioritize work and meet stated deadlines.
• Proactively identifies opportunities and works with team to improve processes.
• Assist production team members with project administration, as needed.

Experience and Education:
• Minimum of high school diploma or GED equivalent.
Physical Requirements:
• Ability to sit or stand for long periods of time.
• Repeated use of sight to read documents and computer screens.
• Repeated use of hearing and speech to communicate on telephone and in person.
• Repetitive hand movements, such as working on keyboard and writing.
• Must be able to lift and carry at least 50lbs.
