About this role
A Licensed Practical Nurse performs a wide variety of patient care activities and comfort measures for assigned hospital patients in the acute, ambulatory and school nurse settings. A Medical Assistant is responsible for general office duties. These duties include answering phones, scheduling appointments, referrals, ordering supplies, calling in prescriptions, rooming patients, obtaining vital signs, recording medical history, etc.
