About this role
What you'll do:
• Responsible for hook-up and unloading of bulk rail & bulk truck material.
• Must follow documented procedures and complete related paperwork correctly.
• Responsible for assisting in the repair and upkeep of all company assets.
• Support the PM system and apply industrial lubricants.
• Properly handle and apply basic hand tools, power tools, and test equipment.
• Support the plant's production equipment and set up.
• Responsible for screen changes and cleanouts at the request of production, washing and sanitizing screens and maintaining screens and decks as needed.
• Assist in the maintenance and upkeep of robotic, conveyor, and bagging systems.
• Handle waste oil in compliance with EPA rules.
• Accountable for daily inspection of forklift equipment.
What you'll need:
• Candidates must possess a high school diploma or equivalent technical training.
• Experience in a mechanical industrial environment preferred
• Applicable mechanical aptitude, process, and equipment knowledge
• Basic math and computer skills
• Ability to work effectively with others and in a self-directed manner
• Must be able to operate a forklift and lift 75 pounds.
• Weekend and breakdown work as required to maintain the plant.
Rate of Pay:
$24.37 per hour
