position responsibilities
• Lead design and development of scalable Core PHP applications
• Architect and maintain secure, high-performance backend systems
• Debug, refactor, and modernize legacy PHP applications
• Optimize database queries and overall system performance
• Conduct code reviews and mentor development team members
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality solutions
• Ensure compliance with security and healthcare standards (if applicable)
Education and experience
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
• 8+ years of hands-on PHP Application development experience
• Strong experience building enterprise-grade backend applications and APIs
• Proven experience debugging, maintaining, and modernizing legacy PHP systems
• Healthcare domain experience preferred (HIPAA-compliant systems is a plus)
