Mission / main tasks / Purpose of the Role
Coordinate and execute complex simulation and development activities, ensuring accurate performance predictions for Commercial Tires (CT) and driving the development of advanced simulation methods, tools, and operational processes.

Coordination & LeadershipSimulation OperationsVirtual product developmentIn this role, you will:
Support and coordinate activities of the local CT Simulation TeamManage team capacity to ensure timely response to requests, quality control and effective execution of simulation tasksSupport Human Relation Development processes for the local CT Simulation Team and foster competency developmentExecute and operate CT simulation activities using Finite Element Method (FEM) techniquesEnsure accuracy, quality and methodological validity of all simulation processes.Perform simulation tasks for Commercial Tires, including Rolling Resistance, Wear, Wespa, Belt Endurance, Bead Endurance, Groove Cracking and other standard analysesInterpret, evaluate and present simulation results to relevant stakeholdersSupport continuous improvement of FEM tire models and simulation accuracyCoordinate the processing of complex simulation tasks and the development of advanced simulation methods and toolsUnderstand and apply boundary conditions given by the target market, application and serviceEnsure the product performance requirements are met and balanced through pattern, contour and layout optimizationDrive improvements in simulation workflows, tools and operational processesCollaborate with RDCT and other departments to leverage synergies and ensure alignment. Bachelor’s, or master’s degree engineering, mechanical area preferredMinimum of 5 years working experienceWorking experience in simulation (min. 3 years)Experience in leading peopleExperience in Project Management and project team coordinationBusiness fluent in English languagePortuguese languages skills written and spoken is a plusHigh service orientationExpert communication and networking skillsWillingness to travel worldwide (up to 20%) ▪ Integration in a challenging and international work environment, featured by the existence of state-of-the-art technologies
