HOW YOU WILL MAKE AN IMPACT
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Supply Chain Intern to join our team. This internship is an opportunity to gain hands-on experience in supply chain operations, procurement, inventory management, and logistics within a fast-paced manufacturing environment. You’ll work closely with cross-functional teams to support daily operations and continuous improvement initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
Assist with purchasing activities, including preparing purchase orders and communicating with suppliers.Support inventory management by performing cycle counts, tracking material movement, and helping maintain accurate records.Analyze supply chain data to identify trends, variances, or improvement opportunities.Participate in process improvement projects focused on efficiency, cost reduction, and quality.Maintain documentation, reports, and logs to support supply chain operations.Collaborate with production, quality, and logistics teams on daily tasks. WHAT YOU BRING TO THE ROLE
Currently pursuing a degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Operations, Logistics, or a related field. Students must be at a minimum sophomore standing with a GPA 2.8 or higher.Strong analytical and organizational skills.Excellent communication skills both written and verbal.Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks.Willingness to learn, ask questions, and take initiative.ADDITIONAL WAYS TO STAND OUT
Experience with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, or similar).Knowledge of inventory control concepts (FIFO, cycle counting, safety stock).Basic understanding of sourcing or logistics. All your information will be kept confidential according to EEO guidelines.
