About this role
The Senior Network IT Engineer supports the development of secure, scalable, and resilient networks by designing and implementing enterprise LAN/WLAN networks, leading complex projects, and providing expert-level support across global sites. This role collaborates with internal teams and external partners, contributes to architectural decisions, and drives continuous improvement aligned with modern IT practices including automation.
Tasks and Responsibilities:
Design, implement, and support LAN/WLAN infrastructure Lead and deliver complex network projects across global locationsMonitor and optimize network performance and availabilityConfigure and manage firewalls and secure LAN environmentsSupport OT manufacturing network connectivity and collaborate with OT engineersAutomate network tasks and contribute to process improvementsCreate and maintain technical documentation and network diagramsCoordinate with internal departments and external vendorsDrive incident resolution and problem management processes Must Have:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related equivalent work experienceCisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP) or equivalent experience7–10 years of network engineering experience with large enterprise network environmentsStrong knowledge of LAN/WLAN architectures, routing protocols, and network security firewallsHands-on experience with planning, implementation, and administration of Cisco network devicesStrong communication and collaboration skills across technical and business teamsAbility to assess and deploy technologies to meet diverse business needsMust have the ability to explain technical topics to IT and non-IT colleaguesEagerness to learn and developNice to Have:
