The Undergraduate Academic Advisor plays a central role in supporting student success by fostering meaningful engagement and guiding students from enrollment through graduation. This position focuses on promoting persistence, timely degree completion, and holistic student development. Advisors use a student-centered approach grounded in the Student Engagement Lifecycle (SELC) and the institution’s Academic Advising Model. Through individualized support, advisors help students navigate academic planning, explore career pathways, and develop personally and professionally. This role collaborates closely with colleagues across campus to enhance the undergraduate experience and strengthen student outcomes.
