In this role, you will support our manufacturing operations. This role will assist in programming, troubleshooting, and maintaining control systems and drive technologies under the guidance of senior engineers. The ideal candidate has foundational knowledge of Allen-Bradley PLCs and a strong interest in industrial automation.

HOW YOU MAKE AN IMPACT

Assist in programming and configuring Allen-Bradley PLCs and HMIs for compounding equipmentSupport troubleshooting of control systems, drives, and instrumentation to reduce downtime. Help maintain documentation of control programs and wiring diagrams. Collaborate with senior engineers on equipment installations and process improvements. Learn and apply safety standards and company policies in all tasks. Assist with capital spending projects and implementationsWork with cross-functional teams for continuous improvement projectsSupport and train maintenance techniciansSupport TPOC, Gemba and 5S programs WHAT YOU BRING TO THE ROLE

Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, automation, or mechatronics, or related engineering fieldInternship experience within manufacturing engineeringWorking knowledge of electrical schematics and industrial networksKnowledge of PLCsStrong willingness to learn and grow in a fast-paced manufacturing environmentKnowledge of industrial safety standardsGood communication and teamwork skillsWilling to work on equipment and support the production and maintenance teamsDemonstrated competency in basic use of hand tools, including multimetersIntermediate knowledge of the Microsoft Office suiteThe ability to work on-call rotation during nights and weekends.ADDITIONAL WAYS TO STAND OUT

2+ years of experience with control systems (PLCs) in a manufacturing environmentExposure to VFDs, servo drives, and motion control systems.
