THE POSITION

As an Supply Chain Coordinator - OE Prototype, you will play a key role in supporting R&D and customer requirements by ensuring timely and accurate management of prototype orders and inventory.
Key Responsibilities:
Create and manage orders in SAP and internal systems to meet customer requirements.Monitor Customer order portals, EDI releases, and coordinate with Automotive engineers to process new ordersCoordinate shipments among customers, plants, and internal warehouses in alignment with R&D, project, and customer schedules.Maintain accurate documentation and monitor shipment progress, providing regular status updates.Oversee the Auburn Hills R&D warehouse, including inventory tracking, inbound/outbound processing, and scrapping of obsolete tires.Drive continuous improvement by evaluating existing processes and implementing new or improved workflows WHAT YOU BRING TO THE ROLE
Bachelors Degree OR 2+ years related professional experienceStrong organizational skills with a high level of accuracy and attention to detailCustomer-focused mindset, responding professionally and clearly to internal and external stakeholders.Self-motivated with end-to-end accountability for the DEO process, including follow ups, status updates, and timely closure of open items.Experience with SAP or other ERP systemsOffice (Excel, Power point, 365...)Knowledge of Inventory Management, Warehouse & Transportation Management Continental is not able to pay relocation expenses for this opportunity.Legal Authorization to work in the US is required.
