Lonza Pharma & Biotech is currently looking for a Production Supervisor to join their team in Bend, OR.

The role of the Production Supervisor is to build and develop a team that is able to successfully execute and achieve results aligned with customer and business expectations. As a Production Supervisor for Lonza, you will:

Be accountable for the safe, compliant and timely execution of all activities during daily productionBe responsible for delegation of tasks, based upon each individual’s knowledge and level of experience, in order to meet the production schedule and support reaching excellence through error reductionHave strong problem solving, decision making and critical thinking skillsProvide an appropriate level of knowledge and experience to facilitate a questioning, yet trusting, attitudeEnsure your team is being provided with the necessary, and accurate, information to make a well-informed and holistic decision

NOTE: This is end of the week night shift (D Shift). D shift is Wednesday – Saturday with every other Wednesday off.

Qualifications:

High School diploma or equivalent is required. College degree preferred.Must have supervisory experienceStrong GMP or solid dosage experience is preferredGood standards of literacy and numeracyDemonstrated ability to follow procedureComputer and documentation skillsSolid reading and writing skillsLearning abilityProblem solving, prioritizing, & multi-tasking abilityMust be able to work nights

Environmental/Physical demands:

Lift 25 pounds above head while workingLift 50 pounds from floorPerform cleaning with 20 foot wand above head heightWear powered air purifying respirator and coverallsMove 600 pound barrel with cartManually manipulate drums onto carts and palletsLift awkward 30 pound bags into elevated positionManually manipulate small partsClimb up and down laddersStand during most of employees shift All your information will be kept confidential according to EEO guidelines.
