About this role
PRN- MRI technologist Under the direction of a Radiologist and the director, performs MRI procedures. Works collaboratively with members of the Imaging Services team and other departments throughout the facility to provide safe, quality care ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS. Performs MRI procedures in the safest manner possible; Reviews order and verifies information to ensure the correct procedure for the associated diagnosis,annotates/labels images properly including proper patient identification, completes procedure according to protocol, gets thorough history to include implant investigation as needed, and coordinates procedure with various departments throughout the facility.Demonstrates proficiency with obtaining IV access and administers contrast media
