About this role

Purpose:

The Director, Finance, is responsible for a full range provide financial leadership and business support for their function. The Director is responsible for overseeing tools and processes for financial planning and analysis related to Plan, Update, LBE and LRP, execution of global standardized manufacturing process and decision support, and strategic projects (M&A integration, etc.). In addition, this position is responsible for ensuring the compliance and governance of processes related to of the accuracy of financial statements and staff development as required

Responsibilities:

Develop and implement financial strategies that align with the overall business objectives and plans to achieve financial goalsProvide meaningful, transparent and value-added analysis and counsel management to influence and directly support decision-making and development of business strategies and tactics that maximize our profitability and long-term successLead development of financial tools used in the planning processes [Plan, UPD, LBE and LRP] ensuring accurate and timely integration of forecast, costing and variance analysis, ensuring senior management input to meet overall division/corporate calendar deadlinesEnsure standardized global process deliverables are documented, aligned and concise for Executive level review and approvalInfluence business partners to develop standardized processes that are accurately incorporate site dynamicsDevelop and deliver analyses for ad hoc or other business presentations that lend insight into key business drivers enabling operating management to adapt more appropriate tactics/strategyAttract top talent, train and develop staff to meet best in class industry/professional standards, motivate and retain key talent, drive operational improvements to realize lean/efficient operations, and develop sustainable organizations to achieve long term high performanceAnticipate and identify business issues (including performance gaps, opportunities and emerging needs) for senior management and develop appropriate action plans to maximize business profitability and performance against key metricsIndividual is expected to successfully perform all responsibilities with a high degree of self-motivation and autonomyImplement ongoing continuous improvement within span of control including establishment of processes to ensure compliance with existing financial initiatives and driving continuous improvement in close or plan related processes Required Qualifications:

BS Degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or related area.10+ years of financial experience in the areas of financial analysis, cost accounting, auditing and/or treasury.5+ years of experience at the manager level in these same disciplines.Strong organization, communication and management skills are essential in this position.Strong leadership, communication and interpersonal skills.Preferred Qualifications:

MBA, CPA/CA credential, ideally through time spent in Big 4/external audit firm; understanding of US GAAP/IFRS; and/or CMA.Combination of Big 4/external audit and established company experience and perspectives, ideally including both corporate/HQ and business facing roles.Diversified financial function experience, including depth and breadth of capability across not only technical accounting and controls (P&L, balance sheet, cash flow, revenue recognition) and internal and external reporting, but also deep exposure to FP&A as well as experience in commercial finance, operations finance, internal audit, tax, and/or treasury.Knowledge of or prior experience in a highly regulated environment such as pharmaceutical, medical device, or specialty chemical.Biopharma Industry Domain Knowledge; Commercialization & Market Access:; Market access strategies and health economics, Pricing and reimbursement in different markets, Launch planning and execution, Lifecycle management of pharmaceutical products. The compensation range described below is the range of possible base pay compensation that the Company believes in good faith it will pay for this role at thetime of this posting based on the job grade for this position. Individual compensation paid within this range will depend on many factors including geographic location,and we may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range. This range may be modified in the future. ​

This job is eligible to participate in our short-term incentive programs. ​
