$10,000 SIGNING BONUS. The Physician Assistant in Thoracic Surgery will rotate between Surgical first assist, rounding and office.Hospital responsibilities include rounding on new consults, follow ups and discharges in addition to assisting in surgical procedures in the operating room. A physician is available to support the APP in the hospital.In the office, the individual will assist the physician and have their own patient schedule.Routine work schedule is Monday – Friday with weekend call (Friday – Sunday) obligation rotated among the other APPs in the department. The Physician Assistant evaluates, examines, diagnoses, and treats patients in collaboration with an attending physician, according to established protocols, while maintaining and promoting the wellbeing of the individual.
