The Opportunity

Eden Classical Academy is seeking a detail-oriented and enthusiastic Memory Work Teacher to support one of the foundational pillars of classical education. This role is ideal for someone who appreciates the beauty and purpose of memory work, enjoys both creative and behind-the-scenes production tasks, and finds satisfaction in helping systems run smoothly. The Memory Work Teacher leads the Kindergarten through 2nd grade Memory Work class, guiding our youngest learners through the content with warmth, clarity, and consistency. This role is solely responsible for the Memory Work class — teaching the material, keeping content prepared ahead of schedule, and handling the supporting production work, such as linking audio to slides. It is best suited for a creative learner who can bring that creativity into a classroom of young learners through song, manipulatives, pictures, and movement, approaching memory work with wonder.
What You'll Do
Classroom Teaching & Instruction
• Lead the Kindergarten through 2nd grade Memory Work class, teaching the material with warmth, clarity, and consistency.
• Bring memory work to life for young learners through song, manipulatives, pictures, and movement.
• Serve as the primary teacher responsible for the Memory Work class, ensuring engaging and joyful delivery in every session.
Content Creation & Community Engagement
• Collaborate with the team to develop and post material designed to draw the community into active engagement with memory work.
• Contribute creative ideas that make content accessible, compelling, and meaningful.
Slide & Audio Production
• Link audio recordings to their corresponding slides with accuracy and care.
• Format all slides, keeping presentations clean and consistent.
