Full-Time Assistant Toddler Teacher

Discovery Kidzone is seeking a Full-Time Assistant Toddler Teacher to join our early childhood education team. This position supports the Lead Teacher in creating a safe, engaging, and nurturing classroom where toddlers can learn, explore, and grow through play-based experiences.
We are looking for a caring, dependable individual who enjoys working with young children and is eager to learn. No previous childcare experience is required—we provide training and ongoing support to help you build a successful career in early childhood education.
Responsibilities
• Assist with the daily care and supervision of toddlers
• Create a positive, safe, and engaging classroom environment
• Encourage learning through play, music, storytelling, art, and hands-on activities
• Support children's social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development
• Help children build confidence, independence, and positive peer relationships
• Assist with daily routines, including meals, naps, toileting, and transitions
• Observe children's progress and share updates with families
• Collaborate with teachers and staff to support classroom goals
• Maintain a clean, organized, and healthy learning environment
• Follow all health, safety, and licensing requirements
Qualifications
• No previous experience required—paid training provided
• Genuine interest in working with toddlers and supporting early childhood development
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Patient, dependable, and positive attitude
• Ability to guide children with kindness and consistency
• Familiarity with classroom safety and sanitation practices is a plus
• CPR certification required within 30 days of hire
• Ability to complete all required state licensing trainings
Compensation & Benefits
Compensation is based on education and experience.
