Essential Job Functions
• Assist in producing provider contracts including updating documents, coordinating and obtaining approvals.
• Assist in maintaining contract files including monitoring of licenses, insurance coverage, and renewal.
• Assist in quality review process for contracted entity credentialing and recredentialing.
• Assist in coordinating execution and renewals of BAA, MOUs, and miscellaneous service agreements at direction of direct supervisor.
• Assist in updating provider rates, including coordinating rate adjustments, supporting negotiations, and ensuring timely communication and documentation of changes.
• Assist in developing and analyzing provider service reports.
• Assist in entering information into EHR related to fee schedules, rate setting, and contracted provider credentials.
• Assist claims adjudication process as needed related to errors in fee schedules or rates.
• Maintain provider databases including but not limited to Salesforce, Fresh Service, and relevant EHRs.
• Verify sanctioned providers. Create various spreadsheets, charts and graphs, and develop reporting out of established databases.
• Participates in data collection for rate review with CFO and other departments as needed.
• Participate, record and produce meeting minutes, as assigned. Coordinate and schedule meetings upon request.
• Monitoring Fresh Service tickets activities to support meeting deadlines and monitoring urgent tasks to ensure timely follow-up.
Minimum Qualifications
• Must possess knowledge and skills acquired through completion of two (2) years of college. Contract specific work experience may substitute for this educational requirement on a year-for-year basis.
• At least two (2) years of professional experience with EHR/billing systems. Experience with Salesforce, Fresh Service, and DocuSign preferred.
• Experience and knowledge of CPT/HCPC codes and/or medical billing/coding.
• Experience and knowledge of Michigan Medicaid system including funding arrangements and services preferred.
