About this role
[What the role is] The Executive will be responsible for supporting the financial processes for Pre-Employment Training students. This includes processing claims, disbursements of financial awards, receipting and ensuring compliance with policies, guidelines and requirements from regulators and funding agencies. [What you will be working on]
• Facilitate and manage student finance-related matters and prepare relevant reports for stakeholders. • Address enquiries from students and parents and follow up on any outstanding matters. • Handle claims processing, disbursements and budget tracking of funds from funding agencies and reconcile records to resolve discrepancies. • Perform financial reconciliation and participate in month-end and year-end closing activities. • Ensure accurate record keeping. Participate in system enhancements and implementations. • Identify opportunities for improvement and implement effective solutions. • Maintain and improve Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs). • Perform any other administrative tasks and ad-hoc projects as assigned.
[What we are looking for]
• Qualification in Accounting or related accounting field. • At least 1-2 years of experience in accounting or related accounting field. • Strong interpersonal and communication skills. • Meticulous with ability to handle large volumes of data. • Committed and strong team player who can work effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders. • Capable of managing work independently. • Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently and solve issues proactively. • Experience with Power BI for data visualization and reporting, and MS Power Automate for process automation is a plus.
