Position Summary The Project Cost Accountant is responsible for the development of complete and accurate financial records and statistical reports through the processing of transactions, the reconciliation of accounts and ensuring the proper accounting of all costs related to inventory, the construction of plant and the purchase of fixed assets. This includes analysis to identify proper allocation of costs and proper identification and classification of items to be captured in the utility asset records. The Project Cost Accountant is also responsible for ensuring a timely month end close process.
