We are seeking a Logistics Coordinator / Dispatcher to oversee customer logistics, coordinate fleet operations, and dispatch drivers and trucks during evening and overnight hours. This role is ideal for someone who is organized, adaptable, technology-savvy, and able to make quick decisions under pressure.
Compensation & Schedule
• Starting Pay: $800–$1,100 per week
• Schedule: Night shift 5pm - 5 am
• Training Period: 30–60 days in-office, depending on experience and proficiency

Key Responsibilities
Dispatching & Scheduling
• Dispatch drivers and trucks to meet customer needs efficiently.
• Coordinate driver schedules, routes, and workloads to maximize productivity.
• Manage last-minute schedule changes, emergencies, and service interruptions.
• Ensure continuous workflow by aligning driver availability with customer demand.
Fleet Management
• Utilize fleet management software to monitor truck and driver activity.
• Track fleet performance and identify opportunities for improved efficiency.
• Ensure compliance with DOT regulations and driver hours-of-service requirements.
Communication & Coordination
• Serve as the primary point of contact for drivers during assigned shifts.
• Handle incoming calls from customers, drivers, and team members.
• Communicate operational updates, challenges, and solutions to management.
Technology & Data Management
• Work confidently within company software systems on both Mac and Windows platforms.
• Maintain accurate records of dispatch activity, customer orders, and fleet operations.
• Generate reports and provide operational data to support decision-making.
Problem Solving
• Quickly identify and resolve issues such as delays, scheduling conflicts, equipment breakdowns, or customer concerns.
• Make informed decisions in high-pressure situations while maintaining excellent customer service.

This position begins with in-office training to ensure success and confidence in all job responsibilities. As proficiency is demonstrated, the role transitions into a hybrid schedule with a combination of office and remote work.
