Position Summary: Under the leadership of the Director of Surgical Services, the Phlebotomist – Non-certified is an active member of the department that provides pathology and laboratory studies and analysis for the medical and nursing staff. The Phlebotomist – Non-certified is responsible for the collection of blood samples from patients by venipuncture or micro techniques. The Phlebotomist – Non-certified facilitates the collection and transportation of laboratory specimens. This position will also help in the OR turning rooms over, stocking supplies, and any other task needed to help the OR flow during each day.
