About this role
Creative Associates seeks a Psychosocial Support (PSS), Social Emotional Learning (SEL) and Child Protection Technical Advisor for an upcoming donor-funded education project in South Sudan. The PSS-SEL and Child Protection Technical Advisor will be the technical lead on the Education Learning Team for students and teachers. S/he will ensure that all activities related to PSS-SEL and Child Protection are trauma-sensitive, age appropriate and address “Do No Harm” principles. S/he will play a key role in developing the capacity of project staff in their technical areas, as well as building the capacity of partner, government, community and school personnel in the implementation of PSS-SEL and Child Protection activities in accordance with project standards.
