About this role
You will lead a team of data scientists and analysts, owning both the people and the technical direction of data science & optimization at Crane. You'll manage a team of data scientists, set technical standards, and partner closely with business stakeholders to make sure our optimization and forecasting projects are solving the right problems the right way. Your team's work will span pricing, finance, and marketing and growth, with a heavy focus on Operations Research-style optimization. This team is focused on higher level business goals and more consistent business impact than simple truck routing or churn prediction problems.
