📍 Role Description
• This is an on-site Finance Manager position based in Cape Town, with team members expected to work from the office at least three days per week.
• The Finance Manager will take ownership of the day-to-day financial operations for some of CleverProfits’ more complex clients. This includes budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, financial analysis, financial modelling, and strategic financial support.
• The role also requires someone who can lead people, manage projects, balance competing priorities, and consistently deliver work on time.
• A key part of the position is communicating productively with clients and internal team members, providing clear financial guidance, and ensuring that every client receives a superb level of service.

Key Responsibilities
• Perform detailed financial analysis and turn complex information into clear, practical insights.
• Manage client budgets, forecasts, financial reports, and strategic financial planning.
• Build, maintain, and interpret financial models that support better decision-making.
• Lead and support team members, delegate work effectively, and help others grow.
• Manage multiple projects, priorities, and deliverables across a portfolio of clients.
• Take ownership of deadlines and ensure that work is completed accurately and on time.
• Communicate productively with clients, clearly explaining financial results, challenges, and recommendations.
• Work closely with clients and internal teams to solve problems and improve financial processes.
• Take responsibility for the overall quality of the service delivered to each client.
🎓 Qualifications and Experience
• Expert knowledge of financial management, budgeting, and forecasting.
• Strong financial reporting and financial analysis skills.
• Advanced Google Sheets skills and experience building financial models.
• Strong analytical, organisational, and problem-solving abilities.
• The ability to manage and prioritise multiple tasks, projects, and deadlines.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• A bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, or a related field.
• CA(SA), CA(SA) eligible, or CGMA qualified.
• Experience in a similar role within an online business environment is advantageous.
