About this role
Performs a variety of communication, reception, and patient registration duties while maintaining positive patient relations. Conducts professional registration interviews, schedules clinic and hospital tests/procedures, verifies insurance and benefits, completes registration paperwork, and provides financial counseling assistance. Ensures timely patient follow-up, coordinates scheduling to meet patient and provider needs, secures appropriate financial arrangements for self-pay or underinsured patients, and promotes a positive public image of the hospital.
