About this role
The Right of Way & Utilities Division is comprised of dedicated public servants serving across VDOT's 9 districts and Central Office, working together to keep travelers moving safely throughout the Commonwealth of Virginia. The Division employs more than 180 professionals who play a vital role in acquiring right of way, coordinating utility relocations, working with railroad companies, and managing property interests necessary to obtain right of way certification prior to highway construction projects. The ideal Associate candidate possesses strong written and verbal communication skills, a commitment to providing exceptional customer service, and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment. This position may be based in the Richmond District Office, Hampton Roads District Office, or Central Office (Mechanicsville).
