At the Virginia Transportation Research Council (VTRC), our research scientists work closely with VDOT to keep people moving through Virginia. The Structures Team with the Virginia Transportation Research Council contributes to innovation, implementation and research relating to Structural assets. As a Laboratory Technician, your contributions will include testing in materials labs, working with concrete, metals, timber and composites. Furthermore, the opportunity to learn and perform complex and specialized tests and contribute to fieldwork involving various structural applications. Acquire skills in technical performance, data computing and presenting results to researchers. Support and assist with practical and scientific guidance with other technicians and students.
