ABOUT THE ROLE: Production management supports the strategic planning process for manufacturing as well as oversees implementation of segment plans across manufacturing operations – ensuring that all the different functional areas work together to maximize profitability. General managers are accountable for their assigned production facility, ensuring operational efficiency and effectiveness, a safe work environment, team culture and morale, customer satisfaction, and achievement of financial goals. He/she coaches and develops managers and employees. He/she is accountable for results, development of KPIs, and continuous improvement.
