Skill : Postgres DBA Location : Bangalore/Pune/Chennai Experience : 3 to 7 Years Job Description:- Works as part of AI NEXT SCM & TradeEdge platforms DBA, Responsible of installing, Maintaining, Configuring, Planning and Performance tuning, Security and Development of database. Responsibilities:- Postgres Installation and configuration as per the environment on premises and SaaS cloud. Pgbouncer Installation and configuration as per the environment. As per the maintenance activities need to maintain and configure scripts daily and monthly. Database administration - setting up, configuration and monitoring databases. Security establishing access controls and accessing vulnerabilities to protect data. Backups and recovery implementing strategies to backup and recovery data in case of disaster. Performance monitoring and analyzing and tuning based on requirements. Managing user access and permissions. Database objects creating objects like triggering and indexes. Scheduling the jobs based on server maintenance. Database Migration and Postgres upgradation activities. Produce and maintain documentation on installations, platform architecture, automation scripts and other technical artifacts Assist the application/platform support team in troubleshooting issues. Take corrective action under stringent SLAs Work with CSP experts (GCP, Azure, AWS) for DBA related issues/support. Analyze bloat report and conduct Periodic vacuum activities etc. Skills: Good knowledge of ProstgreSQL, MYSQL, MSSQL. Strong knowledge of UNIX/LINUX commands and utilities. Good knowledge on shell scripting, PL/PGSQL. Good knowledge on operating system Windows, REDHAT, Cent OS. Cloud environment GCP, AZURE and AWS. Able to handle the performance of query optimization. Experience in working with a 24/7 support
