Description:Customer Requirements, Enduring Programs Location: Palmdale CA What You Will Be Doing This position is part of Skunk Works' Strategy and Business Development organization, which falls under of Lockheed Martin Aeronautics. The selected candidate will lead capture efforts to secure new or re-compete contracts, or task order business. They will be accountable to shape and win new business through a balanced focus on customer value, the competitive environment, and the corporation's best interests. They'll develop capture strategy including business solutions for the pursuit of opportunities; identify potential customers, competitive assessments, teaming suppliers, and price-to-win; and participate in bid and proposal activities. They will have the responsibility to lead and integrate the assigned cross-functional team and authority to direct team activities for the duration of the pursuit. They will run all different types of customer engagements, including those on Lockheed Martin facilities and at customer sites. Key Responsibilities - Lead capture efforts for new business opportunities, contract re-competes, and task order pursuits in support of Skunk Works' strategic growth objectives. - Develop and execute comprehensive capture strategies that align customer needs with business objectives and maximize the probability of winning. - Identify and assess new business opportunities by evaluating customer priorities, competitive landscapes, teaming partners, and price-to-win strategies. - Serve as the capture lead, integrating and directing cross-functional teams throughout the entire pursuit lifecycle. - Collaborate with engineering, program management, finance, contracts, supply chain, and business development teams to develop compelling customer solutions. - Lead bid and proposal activities, ensuring high-quality, compliant, and competitive submissions. - Build and maintain strong customer relationships through strategic engagement at both customer locations and Lockheed Martin facilities. - Conduct competitive analyses and market assessments to inform capture decisions and business strategies. - Drive pursuit execution while balancing customer value, program affordability, and corporate business objectives. - Present capture strategies, business cases, and pursuit updates to senior leadership and key stakeholders.
