Problems typically involve consideration of multiple issues, job areas or specialties and are generally solved through drawing from prior experience and in-depth analysis of issues.</span></p> <p> </p> <p><span style="font-family:verdana, geneva, sans-serif;font-size:14.0pt;color:black"><strong>Essential Functions:</strong></span></p> <ul> <li style="font-family:verdana, geneva, sans-serif;font-size:14.0pt;color:black"><span style="font-family:verdana, geneva, sans-serif;font-size:14.0pt;color:black">Managing Projects: Manage processes in accordance with the Lean methodology which will include process certification, process improvement methods (e.g. Kaizen, 3P, VSM, etc.) and other lean tools. </span> <ul> <li style="font-family:verdana, geneva, sans-serif;font-size:14.0pt;color:black"><span style="font-family:verdana, geneva, sans-serif;font-size:14.0pt;color:black">Prepare, develop, and defend to management key strategic manufacturing plans, risk assessments and proposals that target customer and business goals. </span></li> <li style="font-family:verdana, geneva, sans-serif;font-size:14.0pt;color:black"><span style="font-family:verdana, geneva, sans-serif;font-size:14.0pt;color:black">Differentiate between suppliers based on their technical process (Repeatability, Reliability) and business (Reliability, Rates, CSP, ISO compliant) capability. </span></li> <li style="font-family:verdana, geneva, sans-serif;font-size:14.0pt;color:black"><span style="font-family:verdana, geneva, sans-serif;font-size:14.0pt;color:black">Develop rework dispositions and work instructions for a wide variety of components, assemblies, and materials.</span></li> </ul> </li> <li style="font-family:verdana, geneva, sans-serif;font-size:14.0pt;color:black"><span style="font-family:verdana, geneva, sans-serif;font-size:14.0pt;color:black">Developing and Implementing Manufacturing and Assembly Processes Improvements: Determine tooling requirements to safely support and maintain dimensional requirements, determine machine loading, setups, and hardware handling instructions.</span></li> <li style="font-family:verdana, geneva, sans-serif;font-size:14.0pt;color:black"><span style="font-family:verdana, geneva, sans-serif;font-size:14.0pt;color:black">Welding Support: Develop and implement the process of welding of complex configurations on a wide range of material types. They will also determine tooling requirements for the welding process, and support and maintain dimensional requirements.</span></li> <li style="font-family:verdana, geneva, sans-serif;font-size:14.0pt;color:black"><span style="font-family:verdana, geneva, sans-serif;font-size:14.0pt;color:black">Change Management: Use engineering and business software (Creo CAD, Windchill PLM, Oracle MRP &amp; MES, MS Office applications, and/or other CAD/virtual manufacturing tools/software) to monitor hardware design configuration updates, specification updates, and procedure updates, then incorporate the necessary changes to manufacturing support items (MBOMs, work instructions, CNC programs, special tooling, etc.) to maintain alignment between engineering and manufacturing configurations and compliance with all command media. Also will support design change reviews.</span></li> <li style="font-family:verdana, geneva, sans-serif;font-size:14.0pt;color:black"><span style="font-family:verdana, geneva, sans-serif;font-size:14.0pt;color:black">Tight Tolerance Machining Support: Determine complex design geometric dimensioning and tolerancing for various machining and measuring methods that meet specifications, tooling and equipment requirements.</span></li> <li style="font-family:verdana, geneva, sans-serif;font-size:14.0pt;color:black"><span style="font-family:verdana, geneva, sans-serif;font-size:14.0pt;color:black">Perform risk assessments to ensure risks to personnel and environment are eliminated and risk to hardware and facility are accurately assessed and communicated to management.</span></li> <li style="font-family:verdana, geneva, sans-serif;font-size:14.0pt;color:black"><span style="font-family:verdana, geneva, sans-serif;font-size:14.0pt;color:black">A small amount of travel may be required depending on actual assignment.</span></li> <li style="font-family:verdana, geneva, sans-serif;font-size:14.0pt;color:black"><span style="font-family:verdana, geneva, sans-serif;font-size:14.0pt;color:black">Ability to obtain a US LEVEL security clearance </span><span style="font-family:verdana, geneva, sans-serif;font-size:14.0pt;color:black"> </span></li> </ul> <p> </p> <p><span style="font-family:verdana, geneva, sans-serif;font-size:14.0pt;color:black"><strong>Basic Qualifications:</strong></span></p> <ul> <li style="font-size:14.0pt"><span style="font-family:verdana, geneva, sans-serif;font-size:14.0pt;color:black">Bachelor’s Degree and minimum 9 years of prior relevant experience. Graduate Degree and a minimum of 7 years of prior related experience.
