About this role
<h2>Key Responsibilities</h2> <ul> <li>Execute all civil construction activities for high-rise residential projects from foundation to finishing.</li> <li>Supervise RCC works, structural works, masonry, plastering, waterproofing, finishing works, and external development.</li> <li>Ensure construction activities are carried out as per approved drawings, specifications, and project schedules.</li> <li>Coordinate with architects, structural consultants, MEP teams, contractors, and subcontractors for smooth project execution.</li> <li>Monitor daily site activities and ensure optimum utilization of manpower, machinery, and materials.</li> <li>Conduct site inspections and maintain quality standards as per company procedures and relevant codes.</li> <li>Identify construction issues and implement corrective actions to minimize delays.</li> <li>Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company HSE policies at the project site.</li> <li>Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly progress reports for management.</li> <li>Verify contractor bills, measurements, and work completion certificates.</li> <li>Review and reconcile material consumption to minimize wastage.</li> <li>Monitor project progress against planned schedules and take proactive measures to achieve milestones.</li> <li>Coordinate with the planning department for look-ahead schedules and resource planning.</li> <li>Ensure timely closure of snag lists and handover activities.</li> <li>Maintain site documentation, including work permits, inspection records, and quality checklists.</li> </ul> <h2>Technical Skills</h2> <ul> <li>Strong knowledge of RCC construction for high-rise residential buildings.</li> <li>Experience in execution of raft foundations, shear walls, post-tension slabs (preferred), and high-rise structural systems.</li> <li>Good understanding of finishing works, waterproofing, and façade execution.</li> <li>Familiarity with construction methodologies, sequencing, and productivity improvement.</li> <li>Ability to interpret structural and architectural drawings.</li> <li>Knowledge of IS Codes, QA/QC procedures, and safety standards.</li> <li>Proficiency in AutoCAD, MS Office, and project management software such as Primavera or MS Project is preferred.</li> </ul> <h2>Desired Candidate Profile</h2> <ul> <li>Bachelor's Degree/Diploma in Civil Engineering.</li> <li>7–10 years of relevant experience in executing high-rise residential building projects.</li> <li>Proven experience in handling multiple construction activities simultaneously.</li> <li>Strong leadership, communication, and team management skills.</li> <li>Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.</li> <li>Ability to work under pressure and meet project deadlines.</li> <li>Experience in coordinating with consultants, clients, and government authorities will be an added advantage.</li> </ul>
